According to the latest data, there are currently about 500 Russian troops on the territory of Belarus, the rest have been transferred to eastern Ukraine.

This was reported to Ukrinform by the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.

According to him, in order to restore combat strength, the enemy will move another batch of mobilized from Russia to Belarus.

"On the territory of Belarus there is a Russian group of troops, which is moving from the territory of the Russian Federation. As of now, there are about half a thousand of them, and we are waiting for the arrival of other units that will be reformed into new military units. The enemy is losing manpower, it needs to renew its combat strength, and because of this, it moves personnel, individual samples of equipment and prepares future military units of the Russian Armed Forces at Belarusian training grounds," Nayev said.

To recap, Sergey Nayev commented on whether a strike on the Kiev hydroelectric station is possible.
