The Kejriwal government has given an honorarium of Rs 70 crore each to the families of more than 1 Covid warriors.
New Delhi: Delhi Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain on Monday met the family of Corona warrior Jagram who died while serving the people during the Corona epidemic and handed over a cheque of Rs 1 crore from the Kejriwal government. Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain said that late Jagram, who worked as a sanitation worker at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP), who was on duty without caring for his life during the Corona epidemic, served humanity. He said that strengthening its commitment to respect corona warriors, the Kejriwal government has given an honor amount of One crore rupees to the family of Corona warrior Jagram for this sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain saluted the sacrifice of the brave Corona warriors of the country and said that the Arvind Kejriwal government respects the families of martyred Corona warriors and assures to always stand with their families. Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain said that the time of corona epidemic was a difficult period for the entire humanity. This hour of crisis had created fear and fear in the minds of everyone, but our Corona warriors have risked their lives to bring Delhi out of this crisis. In this noble work, thousands of Corona warriors including doctors, medical staff, support staff, sanitation workers worked day and night to fight this epidemic and many Corona warriors were also martyred while serving the people.
Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain said that late Jagram was working as a sanitation worker in LNJP Hospital. He was infected with Corona while doing Covid duty. After this, he died on 3 May 2021. Even during the Covid pandemic, he faithfully performed his duties like a true Corona warrior. Jagram is survived by his wife, seven daughters and two sons. Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain said that Arvind Kejriwal's government always stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of corona warriors. This scheme of the Delhi government assures the family of Corona warriors that the government and society are always with them.
He said that the Delhi government salutes the spirit of Corona warriors. Of course, this amount cannot compensate for the loss of the family of the deceased Corona warrior, but his family will definitely get a way to live a respectable life. It is noteworthy that the Kejriwal government has handed over a cheque of Rs 70 crore each to the families of more than 1 Corona warriors who lost their lives while serving the people during the Corona epidemic.
Food and Supplies Minister Imran Hussain further said that late Corona warrior Jagram has sacrificed his life for the country while serving humanity, for which the whole country is proud of him. Meanwhile, the cabinet minister has asked the district administration to provide more necessary government assistance for the family of late Corona warrior Jagram. Cabinet Minister Imran Hussain assured the family of the late Corona warrior that the Kejriwal government will provide all possible help to the family and the minister himself will be available for any further assistance.
