On June 6, Vice-Admiral Subhan Bakirov, commander of the Azerbaijani Navy (HDQ), met with Admiral Enrico Credendino, the country's Navy commander.

Vitse-admiral S. Bakirov greeted his Italian counterpart, General-Polkovnik Zakir Hasanov, the Defense Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and thanked him for inviting him to the 8th Seafuture 2023 International Maritime Defense Exhibition.
The meeting included a detailed exchange of views on the development prospects of cooperation between the Navy of both countries in military, military education and other fields, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
