After the criminal explosion of the Kakhovka HPP by the occupiers in southern Ukraine, a very difficult situation arose.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference on the occasion of the Day of Journalist.
You know that there is a corresponding stain (lubricants - ed.), they will fight it," the head of state said.
According to him, from 35 to 80 settlements will be flooded. He also warned of "big problems" regarding the supply of drinking water.
"There will be big problems with drinking water even where it is not flooded, in the Dnipro region, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. The consequences of the tragedy will be clear about a week after the water subsides. In parallel, all teams are working, everyone is in place. For our part, we have taken appropriate steps towards the international community. We connect everyone at the level of heads of state and government. It's not just about help, it's about recording it," Zelensky said.
