The owner of PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin said that Russian troops were fleeing from the area of the village of Berkhovka in the Bakhmut district and called for personally arrived at the front of the head of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov and Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu.

The corresponding statement appeared on Prigozhin's Telegram channel on June 5.

Thus, the owner of PMC "Wagner" hysterically announced the alleged liberation by Ukrainian troops of part of the village of Berkhivka in the Bakhmut district. He also announced the escape of Russian troops from there.

"When the General Staff and Shoigu regrouped and stood along the Berkhov reservoir, they said that this was in order to protect the settlement of Berkhivka, because they were very advantageous positions. Now part of the settlement of Berkhovka has already been lost," Prigozhin said.

"Drape" troops quietly. Shame! Shoigu, Gerasimov, I urge you: come to the front! Raise the army with pistols to go forward! Come on, you can! And if you can't, you will die heroes," urged the owner of Wagner.

Recall that on June 4, Prigozhin announced the loss of positions, which confirmed information from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine about a certain advance of Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Bakhmut: "There is information that observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already been set up there."
