A joint group of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" and the RDK killed Colonel Andrei Stesev, the senior operational group of Belgorod.

This is stated on the page of the legion "Freedom of Russia".

As noted, the colonel was killed in a shooting battle. Previously, he took part in the war that Russia unleashed against Ukraine.

"He and his subordinates, on his orders, systematically terrorized the population of the Belgorod region, violated their rights and freedoms. Previously, Stesev killed civilians in Chechnya, Yugoslavia, Abkhazia and on the territory of Ukraine," the legion said.

At the same time, Ukrainian intelligence added that the soldier was killed on the night of June 04-05 in the village of Nova Tavolzhanka. Previously, he served as commander of the 104th Air Assault Regiment of the Russian Airborne Forces.

Recall that volunteers want to exchange dozens of Russian military and border guards for a Russian lieutenant colonel, who was previously captured by the Wagnerites.
