275 people lost their lives in the horrific train accident in Balasore. This painful train accident made everyone sad. Now the bodies of the deceased are being handed over to their families. Doctors from Delhi have arrived to preserve the bodies of the dead and assist the doctors there in their post-mortem. According to the information, so far only 275 of the 151 dead have been identified, while efforts are now being made to preserve the bodies.

It has been more than 60 hours since this train accident in Odisha. A team of doctors and staff from the Department of Anatomy and Forensic Medicine reached Balasore from Delhi. Along with this, a team of doctors and other staff from many hospitals of Delhi's Central Government also reached Balasore. Doctors and staff of central government hospitals like AIIMS, Lady Hardinge, Ram Manohar Lohia etc. have also reached yesterday.

The job of the Anatomy Department is to preserve the dead body through embalding. Whereas, the job of forensic medicine is post-mortem.
