On June 3 this year, Kyiv police received a call that passers-by found a man with a head injury dead in the Kyoto Park in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. To solve the crime, the investigative-operational group and employees of the criminal investigation department of the metropolitan chapter immediately arrived at the scene.

This was reported to the website TSN.ua in the communication department of the Kyiv police.

According to the results of operational search measures and urgent investigative actions, the police quickly identified the attacker and the circumstances of the incident. That day, an unknown person decided to rob the victim, hit him with a metal stick, then took the bag and ran away.

The man died on the spot from his injury. Investigators identified the man involved in the death of a 48-year-old local resident. He was previously convicted of murder a native of the Vinnitsa region, born in 1991.

On this fact, the investigative department of the Desnyansky police department initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – premeditated murder. Investigators detained the defendant in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine. The police are preparing a notice of suspicion for him.

The sanction of the article provides for seven to fifteen years in prison.
