The State Bureau of Investigations, in cooperation with the SBU, served a notice of suspicion to the head of a department of one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support in Kyiv region, who is suspected of organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine, in particular to Moldova and Hungary with accomplices.
This was reported by the press service of the SBI.
For their services, the offenders took from 6 to 10 thousand US dollars. The cost depended on the existing health problems of the evaders and their age. The older the man was, the cheaper was the "service" for forging documents.
The official ensured the production of forged military records and medical documents on unsuitability for military service. In particular, he prepared for the evaders the relevant conclusion of the Military Command and a document on exclusion from military registration.
"The head of the department acted in collusion with two accomplices – his acquaintance, the former head of the Kyiv regional military registration and enlistment office and his son. The accomplices were looking for "clients", played the role of consultants for the further crossing of the borders of Moldova and Hungary, and also acted as intermediaries in the transfer of bribes", – stated in the message.
SBI officers detained the official's accomplices while receiving USD 8,<> for another package of forged documents.
Currently, it is known about two "deals" of the attackers, for which they received 14 thousand rubles. US dollars. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
The official was informed of suspicion of organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine, as well as facilitating the illegal transportation of several persons across the state border of Ukraine by providing funds, committed for selfish motives, by prior agreement by a group of persons – Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment up to 9 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years with confiscation of property.
Recall that in Volyn, an employee of one of the district territorial centers of recruitment and social support was detained, who promised the conscript to "excuse" from mobilization.
