Varanasi:

Jitendra Singh Bisen, the main litigant in the Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri case and founder of the Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sangh, has announced his recuse from all cases related to Gyanvapi. Earlier, Jitendra Singh's lawyer Shivam Gaur had recused himself from the case. "My family and I are recusing ourselves from all the cases related to Gyanvapi which were filed by our family in various courts in the interest of the country and religion," Jitendra Singh said in a statement issued here.

"Since the filing of all these cases, I and my family have been harassed in every way. While fighting this crusade, we have been declared traitors by our society," Singh said. In such a situation, due to limited power and power, I can no longer fight this crusade, so I am leaving this war. Perhaps the biggest mistake I made in my life was by starting this crusade," he said.

"This society is only with those who confuse the society by indulging in gimmicks in the name of religion. A person who works to protect the country and society by sacrificing everything is neglected and humiliated by his own society. In a statement, Singh's lawyer Shivam Gaur said, "I have been continuously pleading in the Gyanvapi case since 2021 and in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi case since 2022 and have been handling the Gyanvapi case for almost a year, leaving all my work in Delhi and handling the Gyanvapi case."

"I was appointed as an advocate by Jitendra Singh Bisen for all gyanvapi-related cases, but due to vague discussions and lack of contact with him for some time, I am withdrawing from all the cases related to these two cases as an advocate. Jitendra Singh Bisen has been the main advocate of the case seeking regular darshan of Maa Shringar Gauri at the Gyanvapi campus.
