Vice-Admiral Subhan Bakirov, commander of the Azerbaijani Navy (HDQ), traveled to the country at the invitation of Admiral Enrico Credendino, commander of the Italian Navy.

The EPA reports that the Ministry of Defence has leaked information about the case.

Vice Admiral Subhan Bakirov, who attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Seafuture 2023 International Maritime Defense Exhibition at La Spezia Naval Base, met with Mr. Guido Crosetto, the Italian Defense Minister, and exchanged detailed views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

It is noteworthy that the International Maritime Defense Exhibition is attended by HDG commanders from 25 countries, representatives of 36 countries, and leaders of various leading defense industry companies.
