The American admitted that she was scared to find a note in her jacket, which she found in a thrift store.

After trying on a red robe, she came across a paper in her pocket, where the former owner left a request to bury her in this costume.

The corresponding photos were posted on Facebook.

One photo shows a woman showing off a red jacket with floral details, and the next photo shows a close-up of a note she found in her pocket.

Given that the clothes were found in a charity shop, it seems that the dying wish was not fulfilled.

The post garnered hundreds of likes and reposts and many users commented on the strange find saying that it was "sad" that the woman never got what she wanted.

Others reasoned that it would be better for a woman to pin a note "outside the jacket" or in a "more obvious place."
