Ukraine has enough weapons to launch a counteroffensive against Russia, and this operation will give the country the victory in the war with Russia needed to join NATO.
This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Reuters.
"We have already unlocked all weapons... There is nothing serious left to fight for," Kuleba said.
When asked whether the counteroffensive had already begun, Kuleba did not answer, but noted that the main thing is not when the Armed Forces of Ukraine will attack, but that it ends in Ukraine's victory.
Kuleba also touched upon the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO. According to him, membership in the Alliance will be possible only after the cessation of active hostilities.
He stressed that NATO membership is the next big goal on Ukraine's agenda after some allies agreed to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 fighter jets that Kyiv wants.
"NATO membership cannot stop this war, but NATO membership will stop further wars. Therefore, the best way to ensure security in the region is to reach the moment when Ukraine becomes a member of NATO," Kuleba added.
Recall that NATO expansion only emphasizes the strategic failure of Kremlin leader Putin's decision to attack Ukraine, the US ambassador said.
