PMC "Wagner" militants detained a career officer of the Russian army, who commanded units that fired at militants during the retreat from Bakhmut.

The video with the detained lieutenant colonel was published by the leader of the PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin.

The Russian lieutenant colonel said that he was intoxicated and out of "personal hostility" ordered the Wagnerites to be shelled as they retreated from Bakhmut.

In the video, Lieutenant Colonel Roman Venevitin (with a damaged nose bridge) admits that he disarmed a group of Wagnerites and then ordered the military "Ural" with militants of a private military company to be fired at.

"I fired at the PMC Wagner car in a state of alcoholic intoxication because of personal hostility," the lieutenant colonel says in the video.

When asked how his actions could be characterized, Lieutenant Colonel Venevitin, after a long pause, replied: "Guilty."

The Network noted the shameful state of the Russian army if a career officer was captured by a group of convicts and apologizes to them.

Earlier, the Russian Telegram channel "Ostorozhno, Novosti" published the appeal of the occupiers of the Russian Armed Forces "Storm", who criticized Vinivitin. In the appeal, he is accused of death threats that he threw soldiers (and ex-prisoners) into positions without artillery support and without communication with the command.

We will remind, the owner of PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin published a report, which said that the Wagnerians near Bakhmut entered into battle with career military of the Russian Federation. The commander of the Russian military who attacked Prigozhin's mercenaries was drunk. It was he who was captured by militants.

On June 2, Yevgeny Prigozhin accused representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry of mining the routes to retreat from Bakhmut.
