The Russian Volunteer Corps, which, together with the Legion "Freedom of Russia", entered the territory of the Belgorod region, commented on the statement that "Polish volunteers took part in the battles on the territory of the Russian Federation." They denied this information.

RDK wrote about this on his telegram channel.

Russian volunteers thanked the Poles for participating in hostilities in the Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia and Bakhmut directions, but denied the information that they entered the territory of the Russian Federation.

"As for the fighting on the territory of the Russian Federation, MAP fighters provide a convoy of prisoners, military and medical logistics, but only within the state border of Ukraine. Despite such restrictions, we still sincerely thank them for their invaluable contribution to the common cause and always include them in planning and share our trophies with them," the statement reads.

Fighting on the territory of the Belgorod region

In May 2023, Russian volunteers from the RDK and the Legion "Freedom of Russia" entered the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation several times. They called their actions the liberation of Russia from Putin's regime.

In June 2023, the Russians again entered the territory of the Belgorod region from the Ukrainian side. In particular, fighters of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Legion of Freedom of Russia" on Sunday, June 4, announced that they were entering the suburb of Shebekino in the Belgorod region of Russia.

The Russians also appealed to the governor of the Belgorod region Hladkov with a proposal to personally come to them and take away the captured Russian invaders.
