Russian political scientist Andrei Piontkovsky believes that the future Russian government will blame Putin for losing the war - and this is what he fears most.

He said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

"Do you know what Putin's vulnerability is in this situation? We already see the narrative that the future Russian government will offer its people: we fought heroically, but we lost because of traitors. But this narrative is much easier to offer without Putin, adding Putin, if not traitors, then to the perpetrators of this war. It will be impossible for Putin to express this narrative, because the same Prigozhin begins his statements with the fact that we did not invent this war," Piontkovsky said.

As previously reported, a very serious internal political struggle is unfolding in the Kremlin by Putin's supporters by the PMC "Wagner" party. One of them is for a draw, the other for surrender. This opinion was expressed by Piontkovsky.
