On Sunday evening, June 4, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, proposed sending his units to the Belgorod region.
Kadyrov wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
"In general, the number of Chechen fighters in battalions and regiments of law enforcement and military structures exceeds 70,<> people. These are as many as three armies! All units have been trained at the Russian Special Forces University," he said.
Kadyrov added that his fighters "with military and anti-terrorist experience" are ready to carry out any order of Russian President Vladimir Putin to "protect" the aggressor country. Therefore, sending his troops to the Belgorod region would be a "great solution", he stressed.
Recall, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, ignored the call of volunteers to pick up prisoners. Now all Russian soldiers captured by volunteers will be handed over to Ukraine to replenish the exchange fund.
