In Ternopil, a 46-year-old man was exposed who proclaimed himself the "people's mayor" of the city. He was an admirer of the traitor Stemousov and spread fake news about the "liberation" of Mariupol by the Russian occupation army.

This was reported by the police of the Ternopil region.

According to the investigation, a 46-year-old resident of Ternopil proclaimed himself a "people's mayor." He was a follower of collaborator Stremousov and separatist Balakhnin.

In social networks, the resident of Ternopil supported Russia and denied the crimes of the Russian occupiers. In particular, he distributed a Russian propaganda video about Mariupol, in which unknown persons "thanked" Russian terrorists for the "liberation" of the city and stated about the alleged "crimes" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The suspect also justified the crimes of the Russian occupation army against Ukraine.

"Based on the collected evidence, the investigators informed the defendant of suspicion in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," reads the message.

The "people's mayor of Ternopil" faces up to 5 years in prison. Investigators are currently establishing whether he collaborated with Russian special services. The investigation is ongoing.

Recall that during the shelling of Ternopil, bloggers restrained missile strikes and shouted that "this is what they need."
