On Sunday, June 4, the Hungarian government deleted a scandalous video about the war in Ukraine, in which the occupied Crimea is not part of Ukrainian territory.
Instead, a new video with the correct map appeared on the Hungarian government's YouTube channel.
There is no explanation or apology about this in the caption of the video.
"Tens of thousands of children were orphaned, many hundreds of thousands of homes were destroyed, more than ten million people were forced to leave their homeland. Enough war! It's time for peace!" reads the text to the video.
The voiceover again does not emphasize that the cause of these misfortunes was the full-scale invasion of Russian troops in the Ukraine on February 24, 2022 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
However, this time, in words about the threat of a global conflict, a map appears with a red silhouette of Ukraine, which includes the Crimean peninsula.
We will remind, on the eve of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced the official demarche because of the video about the war in Ukraine, which was distributed by the Hungarian government.
