The Prime Minister of Albania attracted attention with an unusual and non-protocol gesture at the summit of the European Political Community, which took place on Thursday, June 1, in Moldova.
This episode happened immediately after a joint photo of the summit participants
The head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama, was again caught in the camera lenses when, walking in a group of his colleagues, he first hugged the head of Italy's executive branch, Giorgia Meloni, and then fell to her neck in a passionate kiss.
The editor-in-chief of the Czech newspaper Euractiv, Aneta Zahova, wrote on Twitter that she had managed to capture a moment of tenderness between the two leaders. "Shouldn't I work for a tabloid?" the journalist commented on the episode.
At the same event, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban tried to kiss the hand of Moldovan President Maia Sandu. But she pulled her hand away from his bowed head, making Orbán embarrassed and uncomfortable.
Recall that on June 1, US President Joe Biden fell on stage at the graduation ceremony of the Air Force Academy.
