Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the new composition of his government, in which only two ministers are from the previous cabinet.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced tonight the composition of Turkey's new Council of Ministers, which begins his third five-year term as head of state.

In the 17-member new cabinet, only two ministers keep their posts from the previous cabinet, including Health Minister Fahrettin Koca and Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

New ministers take over the vice president post and all other ministries.

The vice president will be Dzhevdet Yilmaz.

Minister of Justice will be Yilmaz Tunç, who replaces Bekir Bozdag.

Ali Yerlikaya, previously the governor of Istanbul, will serve as interior minister instead of former Suleyman Soylu.

The foreign minister will be Hakan Fidan, the outgoing head of the National Intelligence Service. He replaces Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Yasar Guler, head of the Turkish General Staff, instead of outgoing Minister Hulusi Akar, was appointed Minister of Defence.

Minister of Finance and the Treasury will be Mehmet Simsek. It is a well-known name in financial circles in Turkey and abroad. Simsek had been finance minister for many years before that.

There will be only one female minister in the new cabinet. This is Makhinur Özdemir Göktás, and she will be Minister for Family Affairs and Social Affairs.

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources is Alparslan Bayraktar.

Minister of Labour and Social Security is Vedat Ishikhan.

Minister of Urban Planning and Climate Change is Mehmet Ozhaseki

Minister of Youth and Sports is Osman Ashkenbak.

The Minister of Education is Yusuf Tekin.

Minister of Industry and Technology is Fatih Cadger.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry is Ibrahim Yumakli

Minister of Trade is Ömer Bolat.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure is Badyulkadir Uralıoğlu.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his speech before announcing the composition of the new cabinet, which in his words begins Turkey's new century, said: "Turkey is stronger today than yesterday. We are happy that in the space of 14 days at the polls our people twice voted their trust in us. We know that all this imposes great responsibilities on us. Before announcing the new cabinet, I want to thank everyone we worked with in the previous cabinet."

The Head of State also voiced special gratitude on behalf of himself and on behalf of the Turkish nation to the presidents and high-ranking representatives of 78 countries who attended the inauguration ceremony for a third five-year term.

President Rumen Radev attended Erdogan's inauguration ceremony in Ankara, accompanied by his wife Desislava Radeva.

MRF leader Mustafa Karadayi was also among the guests at the Turkish president's inauguration.
