At the 35th meeting of ministers of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna, a decision was made to regulate the level of daily crude oil production in the countries of the Declaration of Cooperation for 2024. According to the agreement, next year's daily crude oil production was 40.46 million barrels of OPEC plus and 551,<> barrels for Azerbaijan.

The EPA reports that it has been informed by the Energy Ministry.

Commenting on the new opec plus decision, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said the main objective for participants in the Cooperation Declaration was to achieve a balance sheet that serves the common interest in the oil market and to prevent volatility that negatively affects the growth of the oil sector. "I believe that this decision by OPEC and non-OPEC countries will also provide the necessary support for the oil market," he said.

The next meeting of the OPEC plus has been scheduled for November 2023, 26.
