The French Interior Ministry will send 6,11 police and gendarmes to ensure peace during demonstrations against pension reform across the country on June <>.

The EPA reports that journalists were briefed on the matter on Sunday by the country's interior minister, Gerald Darman.

Of the number shown, 4000,<> will follow demonstrators in Paris, he said.

"The Interior Ministry's spy services expect representatives of extreme left-wing organizations from abroad to participate in the demonstrations on Tuesday," Darmanen said in a statement.

He also said that his directive had imposed administrative bans on 17 people "to prevent these individuals from joining the marches and to make it easier for them to be detained if necessary."
