The Russians are unsuccessfully trying to attack in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. In just one day, they lost 130 invaders killed and wounded.

This was told by the speaker of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction Valeriy Shershen, reports Channel 24.

He said that the occupiers regularly storm the positions of the Ukrainian military, but the situation in Marinka is under control.

In particular, 8 assault actions by the Russians were recorded overnight. With

"They are well trained, well equipped and motivated. But the defenders of the Tavria direction confidently hold the defense. They are taking the necessary measures to reduce the combat capabilities of the enemy," Shershen said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to repel 19 attacks over the past day. It is noted that the occupiers used tanks, MLRS, and barreled artillery. However, units of the Defense Forces repelled all attacks.

"During the day, the enemy's losses in killed and wounded amounted to 130 occupiers. Also, during the day, 5 places of storage of enemy ammunition were destroyed, as well as 18 units of weapons and military equipment were destroyed and damaged,"
Shershen summed up.

It should be added that the Russian occupation army continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
