President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to end Russia's war against Ukraine diplomatically if Russia agrees to withdraw its troops from the occupied territories of Ukraine without waiting for Ukraine to do so by force.

The President stated this during his interview with the Latin American media.

He noted that Russia should already begin to withdraw its troops, and not wait until many people die and Ukraine pushed them out by force.

"I think it's a big difference. Yes, the result is the same, on the one hand. I believe not. I believe that we will de-occupy our territories. And how, for me, it is very important – to lose people or reduce losses. And it depends on it later, again, whether we are ready for any dialogue," Zelensky said.

He stressed that only the decision of the Kremlin depends on how Ukraine de-occupies its lands.

"Today, our partners see it. And already those countries that were skeptical, for example, Germany, Chancellor Scholz, openly says: "I believe that there is nothing to talk about with Russia until it leaves the territory." Please note, not until Ukraine de-occupies, but until Russia withdraws, because there is logic for me. If you want to talk to me and talk to the civilized world, you must not wait until you are knocked out by force. And knock out. Because, knocking out with force and army, we lose people. The question is not time, God is with him, for the sake of victory we do not get tired. If we knock them out by force, then when we push them out of our territory, what should they talk to us about? What's the point of talking already?" said Zelensky.

The President noted that then Russia would look for other leaders who would be able to find an approach to the entire civilized world, find an opportunity for people to sit down with them to talk about at least something, because after what they have done, no one is ready for dialogue with them.

"This is if we knock out by force, that's why there is such a big difference," the head of state said.

Zelensky also expressed confidence that the rest of the leadership of the Russian Federation will look for a way out of the situation, and Russian society is already beginning to understand the issue of "internal explosion - it's a matter of time."

The President also called the statements of the Russian leadership that if Russia loses this war, it will not be a substitution of facts and concepts.

"If we fight to the end and force them out, they will definitely not be in the form in which they are now. Because they will have a public explosion, that they have lost the state, and respect, and a place at the diplomatic table, and lost the army, lost everything. They will have a revolution inside and more than one. Because there is a large territory, and different people, different nations live there. Therefore, there will be a lot of things," Zelensky said.

The President added that there is no easy way out for the current leadership of Russia, because "they are murderers."

Earlier, Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian dictator is ready for any contacts in order to achieve the goals necessary for Russia in order to avoid continuing the war against Ukraine.

In addition, we previously reported that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said that if the supply of weapons to Ukraine is stopped, the conflict with Russia will end in a "peace of capitulation" for it. After that, Ukrainian state will turn into a "second Belarus".
