If the supply of weapons to Ukraine stops, the conflict with Russia will end in a "peace of capitulation" for it. After that, Ukrainian state will turn into a "second Belarus".
This was stated by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, speaking on Saturday, June 3, at the forum "Shangri-La Dialogue" in Singapore.
"The question is not how to end the war, but how we end the war," said the head of European diplomacy.
According to him, it is very easy to end the conflict - just to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. But, in his opinion, in this case, Ukraine will lose and turn into a "second Belarus".
"We cannot stop military support for Ukraine, because we do not want a peace that will become a peace of surrender - a peace that will make Ukraine a second Belarus," Josep Borrell said.
Earlier, Josep Borrell said that Russia will agree to peace talks only after it wins the war against Ukraine.
