Russian occupation forces are afraid of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In order to somehow prevent it, Russians in the south of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region are flooding fields and opening floodgates in irrigation canals.

This was told by the head of the Zaporizhia regional administration Yuriy Malashko in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

"For example, they open floodgates in irrigation canals and thus flood our fields. They are doing everything so that we cannot go one way or another," he said.

According to the head of the OVA, although collaborators in the occupied part of the region are still leaving here, their families are already leaving in the direction of Russia and the annexed Crimea.

"As for whether they are afraid? Of course, they are afraid," added the head of the OVA.

Malashko says that the number of attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region has already increased to almost 100-120 per day. The occupiers are "targeting civilian objects."

As reported, Russian criminals are moving to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine due to the fact that the occupation administration is not able to "ensure order there.
