The Russian occupiers struck Toretsk in the Donetsk region on the night of June 2, as a result of which two people were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional administration Pavlo Kyrylenko on the Web.

"In the middle of the night, the Russians struck Toretsk – they hit the school where the Point of Invincibility was located. This is not the first hit on this school - the occupiers deliberately target an object that provides humanitarian aid and support to civilians," the head of the region said in a statement.

As a result of the enemy attack in Toretsk, 15 high-rise buildings, five private houses and seven administrative buildings were also damaged. Two people were injured.

Kyrylenko also informed that as a result of Russian shelling in the Volnovakha sector, three houses in Novoukrainka were damaged. Prechystivka and the Epiphany of the Vuhledar community were also under enemy fire.

In Donetsk sector, during June 1, the invaders fired seven times at the Kurakhivska territorial community. There were no casualties, but four high-rise buildings, 13 private houses and an administrative building were damaged. In the Maryinska territorial community, Krasnohorivka and Maksymilianivka were shelled.

In the Horlivka direction, Russian troops drove along Chasiv Yar. One person was injured there, four high-rise buildings and nine private houses were damaged. In Kostiantynivska territorial community, four private houses were damaged.

In the Lysychansk sector, two people were injured as a result of enemy shelling in Siversk.

To recap, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during June 1, the Russian occupiers inflicted 46 air strikes and staged 107 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. There are dead and wounded among civilians, including children. A children's clinic, residential apartment buildings, private houses and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
