A series of explosions in Kursk occurred on the night of June 2, and this greatly frightened the Russians. Local authorities announced the drone attack.

This is informed by the Russian media propaganda and evidenced by footage on the Web.

Thus, eyewitnesses recorded on video the moments of night explosions in Kursk. In one of the videos, you can hear that local residents are scared, thinking about leaving the region.

"Mom, I'm afraid! Maybe we need to leave?" – sounds on the video.

The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, announced the attack with allegedly Ukrainian drones.

"Tonight, near the Kursk air defense system, several Ukrainian drones were shot down. We ask the people to remain calm, the city is under the reliable protection of our military," the governor wrote on the Web.

Russian Telegram channels report the downing of eight drones over Kursk. It is indicated that the debris of drones damaged several houses, in particular on Linear and Working streets.

It is also reported that the entrance of one of the high-rise buildings was damaged by a missile from the Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense system.

Note that Kursk is located about 150 km from the border with Ukraine.

Recall that on the night of June 2, at least six explosions were reported in Kursk near the railway station and the airfield. In addition, Starovoit reported the day before that a Ukrainian drone allegedly dropped explosives on a substation.
