Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the war in Ukraine is directly affecting relations between Yerevan and Moscow. However, Armenia is not an ally of the aggressor country Russia.

This was stated by CNN primanews Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, writes "Radio Azatutyun".

According to him, Yerevan is "worried" about the military conflict between Ukraine and Russia. But at the same time, his country continues to maintain a neutral position.

"This has never been said out loud, but I think it shows: in the war with Ukraine, we are not an ally of Russia. And our feeling from this war, from this conflict is anxiety, because it directly affects all our relations," Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan said that Armenia has many concerns of its own, and therefore does not have time to solve the problems of other states.

"In the West, they notice that we are an ally of Russia, they notice this more. And Russia sees that we are not their ally in the war with Ukraine. And it turns out that we are not an ally of anyone in this situation, and therefore vulnerable," the Armenian prime minister said.

To recap, Pashinyan refused to host in her country the exercise of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, scheduled for 2023. They say this is "inappropriate."
