A former Playboy model claims Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her after drugging her at his home in 1969. The plaintiff filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court Thursday under a new California law that halts the statute of limitations on sexual assault claims.

The case is another addition to a long series of charges against the American comedian. The former 'Cosby Show' star has been accused of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment by at least 60 women.

In her lawsuit, 80-year-old Victoria Valentino says she was an actress and singer 54 years ago when she met Cosby, who is now 85. Later, the comedian and actor approached her in a cafe in Los Angeles, where he noticed her crying over the recent death of her 6-year-old son, who drowned.

Cosby offered to pay for spa treatments for Valentino and her friend, and then sent a car with a driver to pick up the women for dinner. That night at a restaurant, Cosby gave each of them a pill, she said in the lawsuit.

"Here! Take this!" said Cosby. "It will make you feel better. We'll all feel better."

Cosby then drove the women to his home, where Valentino fell unconscious on the couch, and later woke up and witnessed him sexually abusing her unnamed friend, the lawsuit said. Court documents allege that Cosby then "had forced intercourse" with Valentino and forced her to make French love to him while she was under the influence of the drug.

The defendant's spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, said Valentino's claim lacked "any evidence or facts" and that the so-called "Criminal Declaration of Crime". Look-back statutes violate constitutional rights aimed at protecting victims of crime and "those charged with crime."

Bill Cosby found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in 2004

Cosby had already been convicted of sexually assaulting former Temple University basketball coach Andrea Constand in 2004 in Montgomery County Court in 2018. In that case, he was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison, but was released after nearly three years when the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his sentence in 2021.

Comedian convicted of sexual assault released Bill Cosby

Earlier this year, a Los Angeles court awarded $500,000 to another woman who alleges Cosby sexually abused her at the Playboy mansion when she was a teenager in 1975.

A court complaint for sexual assault against the actor was filed last year by five women in a Manhattan court. The women, three of whom were actresses with small roles on The Cosby Show, say they were "sexually assaulted" by Cosby. Some of them accuse him of secretly adding drugs to their drinks and abusing them while they were unconscious.
