(CNN Spanish) -- The Prosecutor's Office of the state of Jalisco, in Mexico, said late Thursday that it has preliminary information on the discovery of unidentified deceased people who match the physical characteristics of some of the young employees of a call center reported missing.

The findings were made in the Mirador Escondido neighborhood in Zapopan, the institution said, adding that it shared the data with the relatives of the disappeared and that it is waiting for the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to issue the corresponding opinions that confirm the identity of the bodies.

Earlier, the institution said it was investigating whether the disappearance of a man was linked to the investigation of the seven workers of a call center who were reported missing between May 20 and 22 in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara.

According to the prosecution, the missing man "was last seen on May 22 when he was on his way to work in the municipality of Zapopan."

In another message, the entity added: "According to the information provided to the Public Ministry by the relatives, it is considered that the male could be related to the investigation for the disappearance of the seven young employees of a call center."
