A few days after her wedding in Agra, her in-laws allegedly started harassing her for a bike and a ring and stripped her naked in front of relatives by posing as a transgender during the ceremony. Police gave this information on Thursday. The victim has complained about the matter to the Additional Commissioner of Police. According to the police, the bride was left with her maternal home when she resisted.

According to the police, the woman, a resident of Fatehabad police station area, was married to a youth from the area on May 20. The woman alleged that her family gave dowry as much as possible, but the next day of marriage, husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law started pressuring her to bring a bike and gold ring in dowry and she was beaten up for not bringing dowry.

According to the police, the newly-wed alleged that on May 24, a face-to-face ceremony was held during which her in-laws accused her of being a transgender and forced her to be stripped naked on the pretext of testing her in front of some male relatives and women. According to the police, the victim alleged that her in-laws beat her up, forced her to sit in the vehicle and dropped her near her maternal home when she resisted.

According to the complainant, when she reached home, seeing her condition, her mother called her in-laws, who abused her on the phone, saying that she should not keep the girl.
