New Delhi:The Delhi Police has recovered the knife used in the murder of a minor girl in Shahabad Dairy area. The accused, Sahil, had thrown the knife in the dark after the incident and fled from Delhi. The accused was arrested by the Delhi Police from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh). The court extended the police custody of the accused by three days, the police official said. After interrogating the accused, the knife used in the crime has been recovered.
According to sources, the accused, Sahil, had bought the knife about 15 days before the murder of the minor girl. It is being told that he had bought a knife from the Weekly Market. Police suspect that the accused, Sahil, had hatched a conspiracy to kill a minor friend 15 days ago, just like he had bought a knife.
Sahil had stabbed his 28-year-old girlfriend to death with a knife and then crushed her with a stone in Shahbad Dairy area last Sunday evening. Sahil was arrested from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh the next day after the murder. Sahil told the interrogators that the minor girl had been ignoring him for several days, which provoked him. Therefore, a 16-year-old girl was brutally murdered with a knife in Delhi's Shahbad Dairy.
