The body of a man with an unknown identity was found in the waters of the Studen Kladenets dam.

The call was made by fishermen on Thursday. A police patrol and an on-duty operational group from the Regional University of Kardzhali were sent on the spot.

A man's body was found near the dam. "Cold Well"

A fire brigade in the city pulled the body ashore.

An inspection was carried out. No traces of violent death were found.

The body was transported for autopsy to the Forensic Medicine Department of the Kardzhali Hospital. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.

Action has been taken to identify the man.
