Christian Hristov has been released from custody, bTV reported, citing its sources. According to the media, he was released about two hours after he was arrested.

The formal owner of the Izammet companies was arrested on Wednesday ahead of a press conference on the "Eight Dwarfs: Eight Dwarfs: Which was to be given previously unknown details of the case regarding the "vicious methods of controlling the judiciary". Hristov was involved in the scandal that became known as the "Eight Dwarfs".

He worked for Lyubena and Petyo Petrovi.

A day earlier, it became clear that an action was held in a restaurant in the capital. "Dragalevtsi". According to initial information, the subject of scrutiny was former investigator Petyo Petrov, nicknamed the Euro, as well as businessman Razmig Chakaryan, better known as Well. It was reported that the Euro had fled the restaurant, under which numerous underground exits were found. Later it became clear that Petrov was declared missing.

About an hour and a half after the arrest of Christian Hristov, the prosecution announced details of the action in Dragalevtsi. The reason for it was disseminated in the media from May 29 about committed crimes under art. 143, para 1 and under art. 339a, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case for the fact that various persons were forced to do something against their will, and threats were also used, as well as for illegal use of a special technical means for collecting information.

Petyo Petrov was brought to criminal responsibility in the pre-trial proceedings.
