Adviser to the Head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podolyak advises Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to call Russian President Vladimir Putin to call for the withdrawal of Russian invading troops from the entire territory of Ukraine.

Podoliak wrote about this on Twitter.

The adviser to the Head of the Office of the President noted that the absurd public position of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán once again demonstratively offends the values of the European Union and international law in general.

"This is a deliberate humiliation of Europe and connivance with Russia's terrorist actions. This is a conscious justification of the aggressor and encouraging him to continue the destruction of Ukraine/Europe...", he stressed.

According to Podolyak, it's time for Hungary to realize that through counteroffensive actions Ukraine returns its territories and its people - this is fair and obligatory.

"And if the Hungarian Prime Minister is really worried about the losses, let him call his "friend Putin" and ask that Russian armed formations go beyond the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine," he said.

According to the adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, after the withdrawal of Russian troops, the war will be over, and there will be no more losses and deaths.

"Only a full-fledged withdrawal of the armed contingent and equipment of the occupier is a prerequisite for the end of the war. Has anyone heard such calls from Orban to Russia?" said Podolyak.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with state radio called for a ceasefire and peace talks between Ukraine and Russia before the start of the Ukrainian counteroffensive, arguing that the attacking side suffers three times more losses than the defender.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to demand that Moscow end the war and return its army to Russian territory.
