The enemy focuses its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 21 enemy attacks in Donbas.

This was announced by the General Staff.

"Aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted 15 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, including two on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Our defenders destroyed five enemy reconnaissance drones. During the day, units of rocket troops and artillery hit the occupiers' control point, an artillery unit in a firing position, two ammunition depots and two electronic warfare stations," the message says.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation at the front remains stable. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were found. In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations west of Masiutivka, Kharkiv region, and in the directions of Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region. In the Liman direction, the Russians unsuccessfully tried to attack south of Bilohorivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, over the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the directions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Bila Hora. At Shakhtarske, he launched air strikes near Vuhledar and Prechystivka.

In the Avdiivka direction, the aggressor did not carry out offensive actions. In the Maryinka direction, our defenders repulsed all enemy attacks near the city of Marinka. There the enemy launched an air strike.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions.

Recall that on the night of Thursday, June 1, the invaders attacked Kyiv ballistic missiles. All detected air targets shot down Ukrainian air defense forces and means.
