The final results of the presidential election in Turkey have been revealed.

The EPA reports that Ahmet Yener, head of the Turkish Central Election Commission (YSK), has issued an official statement on the final results of the second round of the May 28 presidential election.

"The second round of voting for Turkish citizens abroad began on May 14, 2023, for the first time since the May 15, 2023, election. The voting process has begun in foreign delegations, the first phase of the second round of voting."

According to Yener, Rebecca Tayyib Ardogan garnered 52.18 percent of the vote and Kamal Kilicdaroglu 47.82 percent.
