The US Department of Defense has ordered Global Military Products for more than $ 118 million for the purchase and supply of Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns for Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Pentagon.

"Global Military Products Inc, Tampa, Florida, received a contract worth $ 118,375,740 with a fixed price for the purchase and supply of 35-mm anti-aircraft missile systems Gepard", – stated in the message.

It is reported that the plants will be manufactured at production in Amman (Jordan). The order should be completed by May 30, 2024.

The US Department of Defense added that the money 118 million US was allocated under the program of military sales abroad (Initiative to assist Ukraine in the field of security) for the 2010 fiscal year.
