In the Kyiv City State Administration, the prosecutor's office and the police of Kyiv are conducting searches. The reason for the investigative actions was reports from residents about closed shelters during the night attack of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by spokesperson of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office Nadia Maksymets in a comment to the UP.

"Currently, investigative actions are underway in the Kyiv City State Administration. In particular, searches are conducted in the Department of Municipal Security and Health," Maksymets said.

As previously reported, on Thursday night, June 1, Russia struck Kyiv using Iskander missiles. Air targets were neutralized by air defense, but the wreckage of three missiles fell on the city, killing three people, among them a child.

According to eyewitnesses, the polyclinic in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv did not open the shelter during the attack on the capital.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on June 1 that it is currently impossible to establish whether the shelter of the polyclinic in the Desnyansky district, near which people died, was closed.
