Russian dictator Putin built the Tsarskoye Selo near Moscow for himself and his family. This is an analogue of the real Tsarskoye Selo with imperial estates, which was built on the southern outskirts of St. Petersburg.

This is stated in the investigation of the Russian edition of "Project".

Putin built his Tsarskoye Selo around the official residence of the Russian president in Novo-Ogaryovo, west of Moscow.

"The estate near Moscow in Novo-Ogaryovo became Putin's residence as soon as he came to power, and should remain so until his death — the head of state chose it as his lifelong residence," the newspaper writes.

Putin also laid a secret railway line there. In the "Tsarskoye Selo" settled his daughters Maria and Catherine. When they got married, they received real estate as a dowry near the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

Interestingly, the household needs of the family were partially met at the expense of the state – for example, they were served by the presidential laundry. One property for the daughters was not recorded: after the wedding, Catherine's palace was recorded on her husband Kirill Shamalov. The housing of Putin's ex-wife Lyudmila was also recorded on him - she also settled next to the presidential residence with her new husband.
