New Delhi: The bodies of a 64-year-old woman and her daughter were found with injury marks in their flat in Delhi's Krishna Nagar area on Wednesday, police said. Police suspect he was murdered. The deceased have been identified as Rajrani Lal and her daughter Ginni Karar (30), a retired officer of All India Radio. According to police, a neighbour called the PCR at 8 pm on Wednesday complaining of foul smell emanating from a flat on the first floor of a building in E Block of Krishna Nagar, following which a police team was rushed to the spot.

A case of murder has been registered in this connection, a senior police officer said. An investigation is underway and some leads have been found, the official said. A team has been formed to nab the accused, the official said.
