A list of cases that prohibit the use of pregnant work has been confirmed.

The EPA reports that Prime Minister Ali Əsadov has signed a decision on the matter. The explanation, decided by the Cabinet of Ministers, said a list of manufacturing, occupations and duties, as well as the names of underground jobs, was identified as harmful and severe working conditions for women who were pregnant or had children under the age of one. The decision was made to eliminate the difference between women and men's average monthly wage levels nationwide.

The decision reduces 674 professions and jobs that prohibit women's employment in existing legislation, identifying a total of 204 professions and jobs.

At the same time, these prohibited professions and workplaces will apply only to women who are pregnant or have children under the age of one, not all women. The decision will ensure that women's employment opportunities are enhanced in their working relationships.
