We are interested in developing our partnership because of azerbaijan's special role as an important oil and gas producer.

The EPA reports that Jeffrey Payat, assistant secretary of state for energy resources on a trip to Azerbaijan, told journalists.

He also said that Azerbaijan plays a gateway role in Central Asia, that Azerbaijan is located in a complex region, and that it has difficult neighbors: "Our energy cooperation with Azerbaijan is strategic. We have invested in this partnership and will continue to do so in the future. We support energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ai."

He added that the market identifies azerbaijan's growth in oil and gas products in Europe: "The United States supports talks between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on energy resources. We also appreciate your talks with Kazakhstan and the potential for btc use in the transmission of Kazakhstan's crude oil."
