In Odessa, on Thursday, June 1, there was a shooting, which killed a woman and a 30-year-old man. Odessa activist Demian Hanul said that the clash allegedly occurred because a man "caught" his wife in the same car with his lover.

Odessa activist Demian Hanul said that the reason for the shooting was a "family showdown".

"My wife was with my lover, my husband came. A skirmish broke out, which escalated into shooting. His wife and lover died. The man received serious gunshot wounds. He is in hospital in critical condition," the Odesa activist said.

Hanul also added that the shooting was allegedly started by the president of the regional beach wrestling federation of the Odessa region, Ruslan U., who "caught" his wife with his lover Anatoly A.

The publication "Dumskaya" writes that the shooting began the driver of a Range Rover. He fatally wounded two people in the BMW who were in the front seat. Then the passenger of this car opened fire in response.

The police confirmed that relatives between whom there was a conflict were traveling in both cars.

Information about the incident was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder).

We will remind, on June 1 it became known about the deadly shooting in Odessa. Police then reported one dead and two wounded. Subsequently, the police clarified that a 30-year-old man died on the way to the hospital.
