"Our country plays a very important role in ensuring Europe's energy security. Our president, Mr. Ilham Əliyev, has increased the importance of Azerbaijan in the world and has become an important regional player in world energy security. The complex geological processes that are now taking place in the world and in our immediate region have greatly strengthened our country's importance to Europe."

The EPA reports that Fatma Yıldırım, a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology, made the comments.

The department has said the complex geological processes in the world as well as in our immediate region are creating new calls for Europe's energy security. European countries with energy problems are looking for a variety of ways to solve the problem, with extensive discussions with Azerbaijan. Today, the need for Azerbaijan's natural gas is growing. Azerbaijan, located on the East-West Transportation Station, also offers suggestions that will be acceptable to each of the countries that will cooperate, taking advantage of the advantages of its geographical position. It is also trying to expand the region and its own carbohydrates to the European market. The start of Baku Energy Week on May 31 is proof of all of this. During Baku Energy Week, the opening of the 28th International Xerxes Petroleum and Gas - Caspian Oil&Gas and the 11th Xerxes International Energy and Green Energy - Caspian Power exhibitions and the participation of influential companies from many countries is an indication of our country's growing international influence.

According to the national lawyer, the comments made by President Ilham Əliyev during his speech at the opening ceremony of the event, the facts he listed, show that oil policy has been successful. In the days ahead, Azerbaijan also has great potential to increase electricity and natural gas exports to European countries. The head of our government also expressed his views on the matter. Azerbaijan's successful policy in this regard is reason to say that important results will be achieved in the future. Azerbaijan is known as a reliable partner in the world and complies with all its agreements. All these factors add to our country's influence in the world.

Fatma Yıldırım noted that European states are now looking for new opportunities for natural gas. Here, one of the most important countries is Azerbaijan. It is no coincidence that foreign guests have declared that Azerbaijan is a strong ally of the ECHR in energy. Also, the Southern Gas Wall has been emphasized for European countries and the region, and Azerbaijan's efforts to increase gas supplied to the European Union have been highly valued. Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for the European Union, and the Southern Gas Coast is a very important project in terms of the safety of the continent's gas supply. In other words, the world highly values Azerbaijan's role in energy security, and the European Union seeks to expand the Southern Gas Wall and increase Azerbaijani gas supplies to Europe. All of this reaffirms the growing role of Azerbaijan's international monarchy. On the other hand, Azerbaijan is an alternative energy exporter. Practical steps are already being taken in that direction. Important work has been done in this direction since last year, with relevant agreements signed with a number of European states. The green energy potential of Cambodia and Eastern Zanzibar will also be used effectively in the process.
