The United States continues to provide Ukraine with weapons. In particular, President Joe Biden has a growing desire to cross "red lines".
Writes about it Washington Post.
According to the publication, the Kremlin constantly threatens to help Washington Kiev
"The Biden administration continues to replenish Ukrainian arsenal of weapons. It is also about the decision of the US president to help Ukraine with obtaining F-16 fighter jets – this is a new "red line" for Putin, which can bring the United States and Russia together in a direct conflict.
It is noted that Biden's determination lies, in particular, in the failure to fulfill Putin's promises to punish the West because of his military assistance to Ukraine. The bluff of the head of the Kremlin does not play in favor of Russia.
"Russia has devalued its red lines so many times, saying certain things are unacceptable, and then doing nothing when they happened. The problem is that we don't know the actual red line. It's in one person's head, and it can change from day to day," said Maxim Samorukov, a Russia expert at the Carnegie Endowment.
The publication also notes that the lack of response from Russia influenced the opinion of Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is a key confidant of Biden.
Currently, the Group of Seven countries are negotiating security guarantees for Ukraine after the end of the war with Russian aggressors.
