It is better for the Russian military, who are currently in the territory of unrecognized Transnistria, to understand that if they want to live, they need to leave this territory.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference following the summit of the European Political Community in Moldova.
He said that Ukraine is not going to take anyone prisoner on the territory of Transnistria, since this is the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
"What to do with those who are there, in the territory? With the troops? Well, if they want to live, they will leave. Let's not think, I will not order a taxi for them. There is a way. Those who want to live always find a way out," the president said.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine could interfere in hostilities on the territory of unrecognized Transnistria only at the request of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
In addition, we previously reported that NATO aircraft guard Moldovan airspace during Zelensky's visit.
