Union Minister Shekhawat has termed the Congress's guarantee scheme as a failure.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has described Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's announcement of 100 units of free electricity as 'Khoda Pahar, Nikli Chuhiya'. He said that he had also announced this in the budget speech. It was not implemented since February. Shekhawat said the BJP's victory in Rajasthan is as certain as ensuring that tomorrow's sunrise will come from the east.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said this on Thursday. In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, he said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's eyes were shocked to see the success of Prime Minister Modi's public meeting in Jaipur. Therefore, he will make an announcement in a hurry, such a statement. The people of Rajasthan were thinking that they do not know what they are going to do. Then at night, the mountain was dug out, the saying of Chuhiya appeared.

Shekhawat said, "The Ashok government of the state had announced to provide 100 units of electricity free in the budget. It has not been implemented since February. On the contrary, the burden of fuel surcharge was put on the people. The burden of fixed charges was increased. "I think this is a unique example of making announcements without study, implementing them without knowing the reality and the failure that has led to it," he said.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that discoms in Rajasthan have a debt of Rs 1.20 lakh crore. When Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014, he made a plan for discoms of all states and converted the loan into a long-term loan. Today, we have come back to stand on a debt of Rs 1.20 lakh crore. The Rajasthan government is yet to pay Rs 15,180 crore to discoms. The government should first repay them. Due to non-payment of dues, their financial condition has worsened. Financial institutions are not giving loans, due to which coal is not being paid. There is a power cut in Rajasthan. On one hand you are making cuts, on the other you are making such announcements.

"As far as announcements are concerned, I want to say that in 2018, gehlot saheb and his party's tallest leader Rahul Gandhi made announcements with the people of Rajasthan by counting from one to ten. The way those announcements became a joke for the farmers, women, youth, unemployed of Rajasthan, they have felt the way they have been cheated. I think the distribution of small rewaris will no longer have any effect."

On the
Congress party's guarantee card, Shekhawat said that the guarantees have already failed in Rajasthan, those who have failed guarantee cards do not run the guarantee card again. He said that there is a saying of Hindi - milk water also burns buttermilk and drinks it. The farmers, youth, unemployed, women of Rajasthan have been cheated last time, one can not eat one more fraud.

Union Minister Shekhawat said that in the last four and a half years, the Congress government has proved to be a failure. The way the people of Rajasthan have suffered four and a half years of misrule. The people of Rajasthan are waiting for each and every day. On the day elections are held, the people of Rajasthan will bless the Bharatiya Janata Party with a historic majority. The people have made up their mind to overthrow the Congress party and its government once and for all.
